Bandai Namco Announces New Dragon Ball Z Action RPG

Bandai Namco has unveiled a new Dragon Ball Z action RPG that promises to deliver the most immersive Dragon Ball gaming experience to date. The game is being developed by CyberConnect2, known for their work on the Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm series.

The game features a massive open world spanning multiple planets from the Dragon Ball universe, with real-time combat that seamlessly transitions between ground and aerial battles.

A playable demo showcased at a recent gaming event received overwhelmingly positive reactions from attendees, with many praising the stunning cel-shaded graphics that faithfully recreate the anime’s visual style.

The game is scheduled for release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in 2027.
