Demon Slayer Season 5 Officially Announced for Fall 2026
Ufotable confirms the beloved series returns for its final arc adaptation, premiering Fall 2026 with the full original animation team.
Ufotable and Aniplex have officially confirmed that Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba will return for its highly anticipated fifth season, set to premiere in Fall 2026.
The announcement came during a special livestream event on March 15, where the production team revealed a stunning teaser visual and confirmed that the new season will adapt the final chapters of the manga’s climactic battle arc.
Character designer Akira Matsushima confirmed that the entire core animation team from previous seasons will return, ensuring visual continuity. “We are putting everything we have into making this the definitive Demon Slayer experience,” Matsushima said during the presentation.
The fifth season is expected to run for 12 episodes and will air simultaneously worldwide through Crunchyroll. A new key visual featuring Tanjiro in his final battle form was also unveiled, generating massive excitement among fans on social media.
Pre-orders for limited edition Blu-ray box sets are already available through the official Aniplex store.
