Crunchyroll has announced its expansion into 15 new markets across Latin America, bringing its total global reach to over 200 countries and territories. The expansion includes localized content in Spanish and Portuguese.
The new markets will have access to Crunchyroll’s full anime library with region-specific pricing tiers designed to maximize accessibility. Local language dubbing for top titles will be produced in partnership with regional studios.
Crunchyroll’s president stated that Latin America represents one of the fastest-growing anime markets in the world, with viewership increasing over 60% year-over-year in the region.
The expansion will be accompanied by marketing partnerships with local telecommunications companies and content creators.
